AdGuard is the best way to get rid of harassing and online tracking ads, and to protect your device from malware.
Get your web surfing faster, safer and more comfortable with AdGuard!
AdGuard is a unique root-blocking ad for Android that removes in-app ads and browsers, protects your privacy, and helps you manage your apps
Easy to create and go, but powerful and highly customizable – everything you need from the Android adblock tool, and it works both rooted and non-damaged devices.
Why choose AdGuard?
Block ads everywhere
Block entire system entirely. These include your favorite video ads and in-app ads, browsers, games, and on any website you can imagine. Dozens of ad filters are available to you and are updated regularly, ensuring the best censorship quality.
Watching your privacy
We value the privacy of your personal data on anything else. With AdGuard, you'll be safe from online trackers and an analytics system hiding on the web trying to steal your sensitive information.
Saves your traffic
More blocked ads mean less ads load. Ads less loaded means more traffic is stored. Math simple by AdGuard! Download apk files, install apps and spend your traffic on what you like rather than scraping cunning advertising ads.
You're in control
It's your device, after all, and you decide what to filter and what's not. Multiple settings – from base to & # 39; pro & # 39; – as well as the Apps Management tools will help you customize the filtering to your liking.
Try to free AdGuard ads for Android apps for free and get the difference! Once you go with our app on your tablet or mobile, you will not want to go back.
Do you tie your seat belts? Because this AdGuard beta will blow you off! We do not release a new beta for 3+ months (which may be anti-record, in fact), but check out new things: it's worth waiting. From a new filtering engine to UI improvements and improving DNS filtering – these updates are widely offered. Let's take a closer look:
[Added] Integration with a new filtering engine (CoreLibs)
We've been working hard to integrate with CoreLibs for a long time, and we're very proud and finally put it into beta. His interests have been mentioned before several times, including posts on our Blog. We recommend reading it for more information, but if you just want a brief overview, here are:
CoreLibs is a cross-platform filtering engine that will replace the previously used platform-specific engine. Thanks to him, performance rates will increase drastically (twice for AG for Android, according to our tests!). Unified filtering engines also mean a shorter development cycle, we no longer have to pay attention to this nuance or OS. And finally, many features that exist only for one OS can now be transferred easilly to AG products for other platforms. So expect things like Stealth Mode on Android!
[Added] Notification channel
This is something that will only be available to Android 8 and later users. We split our notifications into six categories: Protection Status, License Status, Updates, Outbound Proxy, Firewall and Others. You can not only enable / disable each category individually in the system notification settings, but also manage each of them by tapping on category names. This opens the wide door for customization. Depending on what's important to you and what's not so much, you can, for example, make some of them silent while keeping sound for the rest.
[Added] Shortcut to old newspaper applications
Taking advantage of the features available to Android 7.1+ users, we added old typewriter shortcuts. As clear from that name, you just need to tap and hold the app icon to display a quick action list. Among them are toggling protection status, retrieving AdGuard Assistant or checking for updates.
Note – you can drag any of these options to create a widget.
There are also two smaller buttons to open app system settings and create AG widgets.
[Fixed] Compatibility issues on Android P
Android P's release is on, and we do not want to be attacked with possible compatibility problems when it hits the market. We have previewed the developers and changed our code accordingly.
[Added] Automation settings (Tasker, AutomateIt, etc.)
Many users have asked us how to automate some AdGuard functions, such as disabling protection when certain applications are launched. Finally, we deliver, and our in-depth guide to automate AdGuard is already available in our Knowledgebase.
[Improved] DNS function
There are two disks that hide behind a task here. First, we have upgraded the DNSCrypt proxy to version 2. It is a general increase, v2 higher than v1 in speed and security. Other changes are more interesting: we have added "HTTPS over DNS" (DoH) support. This is a safer trial protocol for increased protection against things like human-tapping and human-attack. You can get more technical information about DoH on the internet, but if you do not want to bother just trust us: it's a good thing to have
[Added] More DNS providers are added to the list which is "known by default"
The better the better, right? That's right! These include popular providers like Cloudflare Public DNS, FreeDNS and more. Find the right one for you!
[Added] It's self-hosted to catch app crashes
[Fixed] Crash when running a TCP / IP stack
[Fixed] Crash caused by (probably) by a large number of apps installed
[Fixed] Crash on opening application settings with Assistant
[Fixed] Crash if protection failed to stop in 60 seconds
[Fixed] Crash: java.lang.SecurityException: Objects must be in the external storage
[Fixed] Crash: The specified child already has a parent
[Fixed] Crash: Can not import zero to choice
[Fixed] RuntimeException: TCP / unexpectedly
[Fixed] The timing accident caused by the beginning of the Magical startup
And you can help us to track and fix it, so please continue if you're in the beta update channel.
